Perisher Valley Plan of Management

Description

The project involved the conduct of an Aboriginal cultural heritage study for the ski slope and resort areas of the Perisher Range, with a view towards informing current management and future development strategies.

Our Role

This project provided NOHC a rare opportunity to develop and systematically test a site location model for the sub-alpine zone of the Kosciusko National Park. This research resulted in the mapping of predicted archaeological sensitivity across the Perisher Valley, providing a powerful tool for future management and development strategies.
